Project overview
Orvex is a global space observatory designed to bring space exploration closer to everyday life. It brings together missions, news, discoveries, and educational content from different space agencies into one accessible platform, creating a simple and engaging way to follow, understand, and experience everything happening in space.
THE PROBLEM:
Space exploration is entering a new era, with a growing number of missions, discoveries, and technological developments led by agencies around the world. However, space information is highly fragmented, spread across different agencies, websites, and platforms. This makes it difficult for people to follow what is happening and understand the bigger picture of global space exploration.
THE SOLUTION:
Orvex brings everything together in one place. A global digital observatory that organizes missions, news, discoveries, and educational content, making space exploration easier to follow, understand, and experience.

Orvex started from a simple idea: making space feel closer. Space exploration is constantly evolving, but information about missions, discoveries, and events is often scattered across different sources.
THE EVOLUTION
The project initially focused on a single mission, but evolved into a global observatory capable of bringing together different agencies, missions, news, and discoveries within one connected ecosystem.
THE OUTCOME
The result is more than a digital platform. Orvex combines information, storytelling, education, and collectible products to create a new way to follow, understand, and experience space exploration in everyday life.
The digital platform
Designed as an interactive space exploration experience, the platform allows users to browse missions through a visual archive, explore dedicated timelines and updates, and follow specific missions over time. A personalized dashboard keeps track of followed missions, while the news feed and space calendar highlight launches, discoveries, astronomical events, and upcoming milestones. Educational content and an integrated shop complete the experience, connecting digital exploration with physical collectibles.

Explore & Discover
Users can browse past, active, and upcoming missions, explore dedicated pages with timelines and updates, and stay informed through a constantly updated news feed. The Space Calendar also highlights launches, astronomical events, and key moments in space exploration.
Personalize & Learn
A personal dashboard allows users to follow missions and receive personalized updates, while educational content makes complex space topics easier to understand. An integrated shop connects the digital experience with collectible products inspired by missions and historic events.

The physical collection
The project extends beyond the digital platform through a collection of boxes, merchandise, and collectible objects inspired by space missions and historic milestones. Each product combines design, storytelling, and educational content to transform space exploration into something tangible.
Through Mission Editions, Celebration Boxes, vinyl records, and merchandise, users can collect, experience, and preserve the stories of space exploration. The physical collection creates a stronger connection with each mission, bringing its memory into everyday life.
Set the Mood
Set the Mood is the concept behind the Mission Editions, designed to transform a space mission into an immersive and personal experience. Each box combines a commemorative vinyl, high-quality headphones, and a mission-inspired spacecraft model that also functions as a headphone stand.
Through music, storytelling, and collectible design, users can enter the atmosphere of a mission, turning its story into a moment to listen to, explore, and experience in everyday life.
The vinyl collection
Inspired by the Voyager Golden Record, each vinyl transforms a space mission into a sound timeline. Instead of simply collecting music, every track represents a key moment in the mission, pairing important milestones with songs that defined that era or became culturally connected to space exploration.
The result is a collectible object that combines storytelling, music, and design, allowing users to experience the history of a mission through listening and preserving its memory in a unique, tangible format.

Social

Social media becomes a daily extension of the brand, creating a constant connection between space exploration and the audience. While the platform is designed for deeper exploration, social channels provide a faster and more immediate way to discover what is happening in space. This helps strengthen the brand identity while making missions, launches, and discoveries part of users’ everyday digital experience.

Content Formats
The editorial system uses different formats depending on the type of information being communicated. News provides quick updates, Mission posts follow key milestones and launches, while Discoveries use carousels to explain scientific results step by step. Educational content simplifies complex topics, CICAP Insights focus on fact-checking and scientific reliability, and Space & Pop Culture connects space exploration with movies, music, art, and contemporary culture.
